My step mom, Tammy, is currently in a battle with breast cancer.
She was diagnosed in January after she found a lump in her arm pit.
As of now, she has had a mastectomy and is undergoing chemo.
Sadly, her hair just started falling out yesterday.So..
We had a hat and scarf party to spruce up her upcoming hairlessness.
1. Tammy received so many cute headbands and scarfs to wear. I hope they keep her feeling beautiful.
2. It was fun to get together, inspite of the reason, to support her in her battle and to encourage her.
3. Having a party centered around boobs is just fun. Sorry, but it's true.
Heather put cupcakes on her boobs to try to win the Best Pink Outfit Award. Her efforts were, sadly, in vain.
Gotta love a bunch of girls getting together.
These are all the ladies in my family that came.
Left to Right: sister Tracy, her baby Lilli, sister Heather, sister Abby, Tammy, neice Bailey, sister Summer
moi, and my aunt Joni. aka hot babes.
Love you, Tammy.
Keeping faith, as you walk this out, for total healing!

That is awesome of you guys to stand with ehr through this process. A friend of mine recently went thru a breast cancer battle...four surgeries, chemo, lost all her hair, grew it all back...in one year's time. She didn't 'like' the process but had a great spirit during the whole thing. She had two wigs and she had fun with them. One was her 'sassy day' wig. The other was a normal one. She has dark hair and her sassy wig was a bright blondish shade...it was a hoot! Anyway, my daughter Karlee just donated hair to Pantene to their beautiful lengths program. I am sending you the link if you are interested for Tammy. There is a number in there to find out about free wigs for those with cancer.
